About seamless pipe, there is fake seamless pipe exist, which's mechanical property is lower than seamless pipe, because it is made from ERW pipe, after process, it's welding line changed to nearly invisible. This kind pipe can't bear high pressure, and tensile strength, internal stress all can't meet requirements about seamless pipe. Incase to mix this two kind pipe, please note that ERW pipe all made from steel strips, ,so it has a very uniform wall thickness; seamless pipe is made from round bar, perforate on the center of round bar to make pipes, so wall thickness is not uniform. And the weld line of fake seamless pipe is still exist, if you check pipe internal careful, you can find it.
It Is Mainly Used for force and pressure parts, and for general purpose steam, water, gas and air pipes.
