Tensile test - Take a sample from each batch of no more than 50 steel pipes for a tensile test. Take a sample from each batch of more than 50 steel pipes for two tensile tests.
Flattening test - Take a finished steel pipe from each batch, but not the one used for expansion test, and take a sample from each end for a flattening test. For Grade C steel pipes with an outside diameter equal to or less than 2.375 inches, tears or breaks at 12 and 6 points are not grounds for scrapping.

Expansion test-Take a completed steel pipe from each batch, but not the one used for flattening test, and take samples from each end for expansion test.
Hardness test-Take two steel pipes from each batch for Brinell or Rockwell hardness test.
Hydraulic test or non-destructive testing-Each steel pipe must be hydraulically tested. Non-destructive testing can be used instead of hydraulic testing upon the purchaser's designation.

Forming operation
After the steel pipe is embedded in the boiler, it should be able to withstand expansion and crimping operations without cracks or cracks. Superheater steel pipes should be able to withstand the necessary forging during production under normal operation, and no defects will appear on the welding and bending surfaces.
The mark should also include whether it is a hot-processed tube or a cold-processed tube.
