According to the data that from General Administration of Customs in June Seventh, 2020, China steel export amount on May, 2020 is 4.401 million tons, decreased 1.919 million tons from April, 23.4% year-on-year; from January to May, China cumulative exported 25.002 million tons, decreased 14% year-on-year.

China imported 1.280 million tons of steel in May, increased 270,000 tons from April, increase 30.3% year-on-year; from January to May, China imported 5.464 million tons of steel, increase of 12.% year-on-year.

China imported 87.026 million tons of iron ore and its concentrate in May, decreased of 8.684 million tons from April, increase of 3.9% year-on-year. The average import price was 87.44 USD/ton; from January to May, China’s cumulative imported iron ore and its concentrate 445.306 million tons, increased 5.1% year-on-year, and the average import price was 89.98 USD/ton.
