Today, I will introduce two grades of seamless steel pipes, 15CrMoG and 12Cr1MoVG.

Seamless steel pipe is a long steel strip with a hollow cross-section and no seams around. Due to the uniqueness of its manufacturing process, it has high strength and good pressure resistance. The seamless steel pipes introduced this time include two materials and specifications: 15CrMoG grade, specification 325×14 and 12Cr1MoVG grade, specification 325×10.

Characteristics and uses of 15CrMoG steel pipe
15CrMoG is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, the main chemical components of which include carbon (C), chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), etc. This material has high strength, good oxidation resistance and high temperature resistance, especially in high temperature and high pressure environments. In addition, 15CrMoG also has good welding performance and processability.

Uses
Seamless steel pipes made of 15CrMoG are mainly used for high temperature and high pressure pipelines and equipment, and are widely used in the following fields:

Power industry: boiler superheaters, reheaters, headers and main steam pipelines in thermal power plants.
Chemical industry: piping systems for high-temperature reactors in chemical equipment.
Petroleum industry: high-temperature pipelines and heat exchangers in refineries.
This steel pipe can maintain excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures, and is particularly suitable for long-term working temperatures between 500°C and 580°C.
Characteristics and uses of 12Cr1MoVG steel pipes
12Cr1MoVG is a high-quality chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy steel characterized by high strength, good creep resistance, and strong corrosion and oxidation resistance. Compared with 15CrMoG, it adds a small amount of vanadium (V), which further improves its high-temperature resistance and stability.
Uses
Seamless steel pipes made of 12Cr1MoVG are often used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, and their application range includes:
Energy field: high-temperature superheaters, reheaters and pipelines in thermal power plants and nuclear power plants.
Petrochemical industry: high-temperature and high-pressure chemical equipment and pipelines.
Boiler manufacturing: manufacturing high-pressure boiler tubes for devices with higher working pressures.
This type of steel pipe is suitable for long-term use at working temperatures exceeding 570°C and has extremely strong creep resistance and ductility.
The 15CrMoG steel pipe with a specification of 325×14 and the 12Cr1MoVG steel pipe with a specification of 325×10 have their own focuses. Both are high-performance seamless steel pipes and are widely used in high-temperature and high-pressure industries such as energy, petrochemicals, and chemicals. Depending on the use environment, users can choose a more suitable steel pipe material to meet production needs.
